Two White Pigeons is a completely renovated holiday home that offers comfort and coziness away from home. Historically a quaint house in the worker’s quarters area during the Industrial age, the building has been successfully converted into a modern and stylish cocoon that meets the requirements of a wide array of travellers, both short-stay visitors and long term guests alike.

The central location of this holiday home makes it the perfect base for exploring the charm of Ypres and its surroundings. With good reason, most visitors stay in the city centre rather than in one of Ypres’ surrounding villages. This avoids unnecessary driving and car park woes, particularly in the evening, when people unwind on the central square of this medieval city or attend the Last Post at the Menin Gate.

Two White Pigeons is at walking distance from all major tourist attractions (the Menin Gate, the central square, the Cloth’s Hall, Saint Martin’s Cathedral, the Ramparts, In Flanders Fields Museum) and is located in a neighbourhood full of dining and shopping options, including a nearby supermarket. Given the proximity of the railway station and some of the city’s major public car parks, it’s obviously a very central but nevertheless peaceful location, with little traffic in the street.

Availing of an entire three-storey house for oneself ensures absolute privacy and flexibility, and much more space, which is far superior than the travel experience offered at a hotel or B&B. The house is extremely well equipped, much better than the average holiday home, since the owners reside overseas and stay at the home themselves when spending time in Ypres. They are avid travellers and have a passion for cooking. It is therefore no surprise that the home exudes a global yet homely vibe.
